Parkinson SuperWalk is the single most important awareness and fundraising event for Parkinson Society British Columbia and its licensor, Parkinson Canada.

Over 100 communities gather across the country, uniting more than 14,000 walkers and 2,000 volunteers, to raise money for research and support services through individual pledges and corporate sponsorships.

About Parkinson Society BC

Established in 1969, Parkinson Society British Columbia (PSBC) is a not-for-profit membership organization that exists to address the personal and social consequences of Parkinson’s disease through education, community outreach, scientific research, advocacy, and public awareness. PSBC is governed by a Board of Directors that works closely with the staff to ensure adherence to the mission and financial stability. Support is raised from corporations, businesses, foundations, and individuals.

Your Support Creates Impact

Since 1990, Parkinson SuperWalk has raised more than $22.8 million nationally to fund vital research, education, support services and advocacy, on behalf of the over 100,000 Canadians with Parkinson’s disease and their family, friends, and caregivers. Since 1981, more than $20 million has been invested in the National Research Program.

Proceeds from SuperWalk will enable the Society to invest in research and continue to provide essential programs and services to the 17,500 individuals and their families who live with Parkinson’s in BC.
